Hi All:

 

My friend and I (Michael Sciortino) traveled Sunday from Terre Haute to attend your show and swap meet. 

 

To be honest, as bad as the weather was the day before we had 2nd and 3rd thoughts about going, but in the end we did and BOY we are both very glad we did.

 

Mike and I both commented that everyone we met at the show was just so friendly , including the swap meet vendors, the show staff, other car owners and the people they just came up and struck a conversation with us. 

 

Mike and I are both relatively new to displaying our cars at car shows.  This was the second time he has taken his car and shown it a show, it was the first time for me.  When you announced our names as winners, we were both completely dumb stuck.  Neither one of us know what category we won, not that makes any difference.  If you remember it took some time to get Mike to come up and accept his award, that's because he was asking people around him for someone named Mike, not really considering that the Mike you guys were after was him.

 

We still do not know how you guys choose us over all the other beautiful cars that were on display.  We joked to each other, "how could they pick a 4-door, family sedan, and a unwashed, primer gasser over all those really nice car."

 

Well, we will be back next year and hope to bring many others with us.
